Well hello there! Welcome to Amanda Abby Blog. I’m so glad to have you here.
My name is Amanda Abby Chase and I’m the writer/photographer/recipe creator/taste tester behind Amanda Abby Blog. I basically run the show. No biggie.
I started a cooking blog in high school as a way to combat a case of I-just-moved-to-this-new-town-and-I-have-no-friends-here-itis. My love for food, cooking, baking, and eating grew quickly as I shared recipes with friends and family on my blog. The pinnacle of my high school blogging days was a trip to New York City to celebrate graduation. My goal was to eat my way through the city. With my doting mother in tow, that’s exactly what we did. And boy, was it delicious.
Since high school, I have been studying public relations at Brigham Young University (BYU). In 2013, I took a hiatus from BYU to serve as a full-time missionary in Southern California for my church.
As the years have passed, my interests have expanded beyond food and academics exclusively. I’d like to think I’m a bit more three dimensional now. Amanda Abby Blog was created in 2015 as a way for me to discuss and share my interests with others. Specifically, my interests in cooking and baking, striving for a healthy and balanced lifestyle, maintaining faith in God, and surviving the Whole 30 (but really).
This blog is a space dedicated to creating fresh, delicious recipes, reflecting on my faith, and pursuing a healthy and balanced life. My aim for this blog is to provide a positive, creative, and inspiring place on the internet.
So enough about this blog. Let’s talk about me. When I’m not blogging, you’ll find me studying, sending ridiculously-filtered snaps to my little sisters, eating Café Rio (eating in general, really), spending time with family and watching Gilmore Girls on Netflix.
I’m so happy you stopped by Amanda Abby Blog. I hope you’ll continue to come back around.
